Francesco Corti en Ensemble Il pomo d'oro zetten hun bejubelde reeks Bach klavecimbelconcerten voort en voegen zich nu bij Andrea Buccarella in de werken voor twee klavecimbels, BWV 1060-1062. In vergelijking met de vorige twee afleveringen is het begeleidende ensemble klein, waardoor maximale transparantie en concentratie op de solisten mogelijk is. De grootste discografische troef van dit album is Corti's bewerking van Bachs onvoltooide Concerto voor klavecimbel, hobo en strijkers in D klein, BWV 1059. In zijn uitvoerige bijdrage in het boekje legt Corti uit waarom en hoe hij delen van de cantate BWV 35 heeft gebruikt om de partituur te completeren. Emmanuel Laporte speelt de hobo solo.
