Dit is de wereldpremière van Gourlay's 45 minuten durende symfonische synthese van muziek uit Wagners laatste opera, waarin de Preludes zijn opgenomen in alle drie de acts, de Transformation Music en de Good Friday Music. Gourlay schrijft: 'Parsifal bevat zeker enkele van Wagners beste orkestwerken, maar er is momenteel weinig materiaal voor alleen orkest beschikbaar voor concertuitvoeringen... Mijn prioriteit was om de muziek waar mogelijk samen te voegen met originele Wagner'.
